MCP lets a trusted local AI client use Mqttable as its MQTT workbench. It is off by default.
Settings > MCP shows enablement, runtime health, and the copyable client configuration.
The switch takes effect immediately. Runtime health is separate: unavailable change services reject writes without changing enablement; available diagnostic reads remain accessible. Old access-level settings require explicit re-enablement, never an automatic permission upgrade.
Mqttable provides copyable JSON and TOML using a loopback HTTP URL. The configuration contains no Bearer Token or Broker credentials, and cross-origin browser requests are rejected.
