Desktop shows the Runtime and operating-system features included with the native app.

Runtime options

• Local Runtime is embedded in the desktop app and keeps Runtime-owned workspaces and credentials on this computer.
• Remote Runtime connects the app to an authorized Mqttable Server. It is a Pro feature that requires a current online entitlement; its URL is not an MQTT Broker address.
• Next launch profile changes the Runtime used after restart. It does not move the current session or copy data between Runtimes.

Desktop-only controls

Mqttable can check for updates in the background, while installation remains manual. This tab also manages the menu bar icon, start at login, and the global show/hide shortcut; these preferences always belong to the local computer.
